Description:
This Two 1/2-day (9:00 am to 12:00 pm each day) online course will prepare you with the necessary tools for using data analysis to inform your decision making. The methods taught in this course include both descriptive statistics and statistical inference, with extensive use of data visualization. Using some statistics, participants will explore how data / metrics can best be applied to decisions in core organizational areas including staffing, training, and workforce surveys. Identification of the appropriate data summaries and statistical techniques for analyzing a variety of organizational problems will be emphasized, as well as the potential pitfalls from of using inappropriate techniques, to make you a savvy consumer of data as a professional.
