Description
The NH Supervisory Academy (SA) is designed to help you develop and refine the skills you need to supervise people more effectively-and be ready for unexpected change.? Throughout this 8 week training you will come to know yourself better as a supervisor or an aspiring supervisor and make effective choices about your leadership development. You will learn to manage time and priorities, communicate better with your staff, build a team, manage stress and conflict, and motivate your employees toward better performance. You will start with a pre-recorded instructor lead presentation prior to meeting for the three-hour online session Thursdays 8:30-11:30. Counts as 9-Months of Supervisory experience for classified positions within the Executive Branch of the State of NH. Successful completion of the Supervisory Academy is a pre-requisite for the new 12-month Certified Public Manager (CPM) program.
